About Us
Honey Mate is a couple ran videography business based in Southern California. Our team consists of Kayla Burns, the companies creative director who works behind the scenes, and Arturo Sanjines the founder and head videographer. Our goal since the beginning is to create authentic, documentary style films that couples will love forever.
Originating from Scranton, Pennsylvania, Kayla is a graduate of Chapman University with a degree in Economics. She has always enjoyed cinematography and storytelling and is passionate about combining her passions and strengths to create a professional environment for every client.
Originating from La Paz, Bolivia, Arturo has been a videographer since the age of 16. While first entering into the videographer sphere for commercial and business content, he has since transitioned into the wedding and other intimate gatherings sphere.
Our Process
Discovery Call
Greetings! We meet with every prospecting couple on zoom to introduce ourselves and get to know you. During this call we will discuss specifics in packages, pricing, and show you what you can expect from us! Let us show why Honey Mate is the duo for you!
Welcome Call
Lets get started! You and your partner will meet with us to dive deeper into your love story. You also will be able to layout your expectations and desires for your film. This step ensures that we go into your wedding knowing what's most important.
Check In
The day is almost here! A couple weeks before your big day, we will meet with you one more time for any last minute insight. During this time we will get a better schedule of the day and a point of contact in case of any questions that come up.
Reveal
Congratulations! The big day has come and gone exactly how you hoped. Now, its time for the big reveal of your film. Bring some tissues and tell the family because we are hosting a watch video of the century!
